The BMW i3 in 2017 will be with two battery of configurations




The good news from BMW i3  automaker will offer two diifferent battery sizes: the same 60Ah configuration as at present, and a new 94Ah setup. Since both batteries will be available in both versions of the i3, BMW will actually be selling four i3 variants.

In addition the BMW i3 in 2017 will offer a second configuration that could allow batteries to increase its autonomy to almost 300 kilometers in the NEDC cycle. Commercialization expected by the end of the year.
